Use for smooth lime plaster
Fine Quartz Primer is quartz facing in an acrylic formula. It is a flat finish primer for texture basecoats and preparation.
Commonly used to prepare surfaces so that they are perfectly absorbant, smooth, and transpiring.
Overall, quartz primer is a smooth finish primer used to create good foundations for applications for ventian plaster and smooth lime finishes.
Composition: Acrylic emulsion, special surface-active agents, quartz grains, other additives.
Application: Dilute the product with 30-50% of water and apply with a paintbrush or roller. Stir the product at regular intervals.
Technical data: Dilution: 10% -30% with water
Drying time: 30 minutes to the touch – completely dry in 24 hours at 68 F.
Apply with a paintbrush, roller, may be sprayed. Shelf life: 36 months if unopened
Available in: 1Quart, 5 Liters, 14 liters pails.
Spread rate: 71 to 82 Sq. ft. per quart.

Seems to adhere to board just fine not sure if the bonding is any better than using Tile Adhesive and Marble mixed with aggregate and it is expensive.
Shipping was poor. Came with plastic wrap to hold lid on but it didn't leaked out lost 1/3 of container. So far Atova didn't want to replace this.
