WATER-BASED TRANSPARENT PROTECTIVE FINISH FOR LIME AND STONE POROUS MATERIALS

Aqua Base ensures a long-lasting, water-repellent and transparent surface treatment for vertical surfaces and ceilings. Aqua Base can be used in moist environments, such as showers, saunas, etc. The special UV-resistant and non-yellowing formulation allows the product to perfectly penetrate in the surfaces to be treated, but it does not affect breathability, colour and look.

USES: Interior/Exterior 

COVERAGE: 185-200 sq. ft. per gallon.

Intended uses:

- Wall surfaces, protected with smooth or thick finishes.

- Mineral, synthetic finishes and porous stone materials.

- Vertical surfaces and ceilings, particularly suitable for use in environments with a high production of humidity such as showers, saunas, etc.

Application system:

OUTDOORS: Apply the product to the substrate to be protected, also immediately after the first 48 hours of seasoning. A thin coat of the product ensures waterproofing only if the substrate is in excellent condition, i.e. free from cracks, fissures, etc.

INDOORS: It must be applied following the same method as for outdoors. The application in wet rooms, such as saunas, shower cubicles, etc. will require two coats of AQUA PROTECTION, a transparent non film-forming protective finish, 24 hours after applying AQUA BASE.
