Utalizing 2 complex automated tinting sytems, the "ossidi" and "edelizia," Atova's color departments are perhaps the #1 reason why so many turn to us for faux finishing and Venetian plaster. Atova's automated tinting system enables precision color matching and reliable color tracking over time. Recording each and every tinted order and formula, Atova orders come complete with formula labels, both on your buckets and for your files.

Re-ordering products with colors used in the past is a problem many contractors face as they are called back for additions and repairs. Atova pigments are divided into two categories, Universal and Oxide. Refer to your products technical sheet to determine which tints must be used to tint product. Typically, acrylic based products take Universal pigments, and mineral based products take Oxide pigments which are tolerant to lime and silica, as well as suitable for exteriors.

A Tint
is an individual amount of a particular formula. Pre-packaged tints, such as the Duco tints used to tint Lime Spatula, are ready to go solutions for those purchasing product non-tinted.
